I always find it so weird to talk about myself in a way that doesn't come across as awkward or weird, but I guess that is the perfect place to start. I am a nerd. I am weird. I am unique. During the day, I entertain the future's youth as a high school Spanish teacher and am a photographer by night.
Growing up, I always figured I would be a doctor and work with babies, but my passions and dreams changed in a huge way when I found my calling to be an educator. Growing up in a small town in Kansas, I had many teachers who inspired me to desire and love learning. From there, I was drawn to make an impact in the same way. I began teaching in 2006 in Kansas and later moved to Colorado where I married the love of my life and my best friend. Together we built a beautiful life and family, moving to Fairbanks, AK for the army. It was here we decided to stay and remain to put down and make our own roots for our family. Being surrounded by all of this beauty is where I found a passion for photography.
My goal and mission is to create beautiful memories of families all together on that special day, mothers who rarely get "beautiful moments" with their children, spouses who radiate love and want to capture that love, or events that need professional photos to commemorate a promotion or homecoming. Whether it is working with babies, expecting mothers, holidays, birthdays, or even Real Estate, I have a passion to deliver quality photos, learning and growing as I go.
I love seeing where I have come and where I am today, and am constantly seeing growth in myself as I go along this journey.
